Eventing at the University of Michigan

Eventing at the University of Michigan is a school sports team officially affiliated with the United States Eventing Association, Inc. (USEA) Collegiate Program. We were recognized by the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor as a Voluntary Student Organization (VSO) in August 2016.

 

EUM seeks to support and promote eventing at the grassroots level through competition, education (such as clinics and lessons), and member involvement in volunteering. As members of a USEA affiliate, our roster receives yearly USEA membership discounts, access to intercollegiate team challenges, and teams at the Intercollegiate National Championships at Virginia Horse Trials in Lexington, VA.

The University of Michigan - Ann Arbor is ranked as the #4 Public University in the U.S. by U.S. News & World Report, with over 265 degree programs. Our eventing program is open to any undergraduate or graduate student in any major and utilizes the opportunities available in the heart of Michigan's eventing country to supplement students' academic growth with growth in their horsemanship.
